Celebrating 10 years of celum with ground-breaking for new headquarters in Linz

Young and innovative celum GmbH was celebrating its 10th anniversary with staff, close friends and customers from all over the world. Besides a review on 10 moving and successful years, the event focused on the the company‘s future. One part oft he festivity was the ground-breaking ceremony of celum’s new headquarters in Linz that will be used as a central R&D centre.

 „Our software is helping international marketing, sales and communication organizations to save a lot of money. We even make profits out of the actual economic crisis and want to invest anti-cyclically. In our eyes the next 10 years will be formed by sustainable growth, by extensive R&D and independence. We are doing everything in our power to fulfill our claim „ALWAYS AHEAD!“.“

Because of a 50 percent increase of orders and a 25 percent growth in sales, 2009 is a extremly successful year for celum. As space capacities have come to their limits together with Upper-Austrian Association for Technology and Marketing the company has been searching for a sustainable and flexible solution for a R&D centre in Linz.

An adequate object has been found in Linz‘ south grounds. From now on celum’s whole competence in R&D will be concentrated long-term in a spectacular new building surround by lakes, a golf course and a lot of nature. So an optimal working environment will be provided to celum’s highly qualified employees which will push them ahead to even more innovations. Relocation is planned for 4th qarter in 2010.

The facts about project „Ark I“:

• Investment of 2.2 million Euro for a premium building with 1.500 square metres
• Project „Ark I“ is to be the first building of a whole campus. celum is strong-willed to be Europe’s leading eDAM (enterprise digital assent management) software provider and needs a flexible basis that is easy to expand.
• „Ark I“ will be a R&D centre for 70 employees to perfectly support the company’s expansion
• The modern and visonary-pragmatically architecture is done by Vienna’s famous architect’s office Schauer-Schläffer. Strong emphasise has been put on the object‘s inner values, sustainability in building process and ecological energy standards.
